Eichel trade without Dach or Boqvist

Created by: TCS2020
Team: 2021-22 Chicago Blackhawks
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 20, 2021
Published: Jun. 20, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Disclaimer: Buffalo probably wouldn't want a deal for Eichel without Dach or Boqvist in the package but I believe its a fair enough offer without giving up our teams future, in no way do I think it would ever happen but it is the best I could come up with. Rationale: In order to cash in on Eichel and bolster the defense the hawks would have to clear cap, with a trade of Dach instread of Kubalik Chicago likely would not be able to afford to resign Kubalik with his arbitration rights as long as Kubalik were to have another solid season which makes him expendable in my opinion and has the capability to put up 35-40+ goals. Strome has overstayed his welcome in Chicago and is better fit to be a top 6 center where with Toews returning plus one of Dach or Eichel being the other top 6 center he has no place regardless. Nylander is a throw in because he no longer has a spot in Chicago where as in Buffalo he could likely be in their top 9. Assuming Chicago were to sign Hamilton and not trade away our future for Jones who is terribe analytically Mitchell would be edged out with Hamilton Murphy and Boqvist all having an edge over him on the right side he would no longer fit into the long term or short term plan. Factoring in the 11th overall pick and the second I don't think this would be too bad of a haul for Eichel but probably not the best offer that will come up.
Summary:
Buffalo gets a pure goal scorer, a top 6 center, an admittedly troubled prospect but has the potential and skill just lacks consistency, a potential top 4 dman, the 11th overall pick and a late second rounder.

Hamilton: Rumored that he was looking for 8,000,000 but assuming the team that lands him would have to pay more than that so an extra $500,000ish would probably be more realistic.

Martinez: A solid LHD to take extra minutes away from Keith

Saad: Fits the need of a winger to go alongside Toews not sure he wants to return to Chicago based on comments after the trade but a UFA second line forward around his cap hit could replace him easily

You can’t be serious. In what world would Buffalo want Nylander back? We’re not undoing the only good trade Botterill pulled off just because you have buyer’s remorse.

IF it was t happen without Dach, which I don't think it will, It would have to be something around Kubalik+Reichel+11th OA. Hawks probably also send one of connely/dehaan and a conditional 2nd that becomes a 1st.

      Kubalik+Reichel+connely+11th OA+conditional 2nd

Not sure if BUF fans would think thats neough but that's what I think a deal without Dach looks like

He'd literally just be a throw in that's low risk doesn't really even change the value with or without him there

The Boqvist part was thrown in just because of seeing some Hawks fans talk about using Boqvist instead of Dach, obviosuly Buffalo is saying no without Dach just wanted to throw something together

They def don't want Nylander back and Stan wouldn't want to just give him back, would have even more egg on his face doing that.

As much as I appreciate creativity, I don't think a Chicago trade happens without Dach going to Buffalo.
