Dumba is very good but he is a right hand shot. So are Seider and Hronek. That would put Hronek on the 3rd pair. Also, a team would want to know if McCisick is healthy. Now, are you proposing this so Min., gets some VAP relief?
If they don't need Cap relief I don't think they would do it yet. I would rather the Wings go after a Left shot Defenseman.

I agree there is no way Detroit gives up that much for another RHD. Seider will be in the 3rd pair maybe 2nd by the end of the season. As it looks he could be a special player but at the NHL level it the hardest thing for younger players to grasp solid team defense. Especially for defensemen it why defensemen peak at a later age than forwards. There is also talk about moving Hronek to the left side. Besides the lack of good options to play on the left side they feel it will give Hronek more of a chance to use his one timer. The little I've been able to find on McIsaac is that he is progressing very well and even a little faster than expected, As you said I don't think he has much value right now.
