Tkachuk's probably not getting traded so the concept doesn't really make sense

Can we have a Frank discussion: ??

Jordan greenway for Ryan strome is fair. Even though cap will maybe keep wild, & I say maybe because if fiala isn't traded , or Dumba isn't selected/ traded, cap will be dire to put together a complete team

Brett Howden: if you are being honest, he's nothing more than a throw in a trade in that maybe a new place can give him new lease of life in terms of his career, and play

1.2 mil retention isn't enough, or needed in terms of wild adding on Nico sturm

I like Nico sturm. Maybe other wild fans will agree with me as I've seen tgen comment on other proposals but, Nico sturm just finished his rookie season with wild. With all the rightful attention towards Kaprizov, Nico Sturm finished with 11 Goals, 2nd most in wild history for a rookie behind Kaprizov with a +10. Someone fact check me on the 2nd most in wild history because I heard this during one of the final wild games vs. St Louis

Never mind that Nico sturm did this playing largely on 4th line out of position, 3rd line sometimes then finally wild coach realized he needed to put him at C, his rightful position which he succeed at.

So this are my thoughts . One final Thought, Nico Sturm contributed to wild, & was more important than Brett Howden was for Rangers playing in 42 games, & finishing with 1 goal.

Nico is something like 4th or 5th in goals. Gaborik held the record until Kaprizov broke it this year. Gabby had 18 goals in his rookie campaign.

But I agree on Nico and Howden bits being added. Unnecessary and tilting to heavily into the Rangers corner to consider as is. Take them out of it, remove the retention on Greenway, and I'd do it.

Otherwise it would be an easy no from the Wild I'd think.

Rangers quickly decline the Calgary deal and Minnesota declines as Clement says above.

Soooo we stay the softest and smallest team in the league.

Cant wait to see Tom Wilson out there against Jones and Lundkvist.

How you gonna bring up stats for sturm and not bring up the fact that strome for greenway is most certainly not fair for the Rangers. I’m absolutely tired of the strome hate. Go see how many points he’s put up the last two season. Playing with Panarin or not he’s been killing it. Sturms value might be higher than Howdens but he’s an overaged rookie and stromes value surpasses greenways way more than sturm does howdens

Rangers fan made this proposal. there's no hate in any of the comment I made.

Trade proposal of greenway for strome since yesterday has come from Rangers fans

& I don't think it's too bias to say Howden would be a throw in; giving him a new place to start.

In my concept of the trade, Strome for Greenway favors Wild, especially since retention on Strome makes each a team pay 3.3 million. The Howden for Nico part favors the Rangers. Do the two parts combine to make it even? That's for smarter people than me to decide. But thanks for constructive input and not just saying "Wild hang up"
