Toronto says no. 7th round pick is worth more than Eric Gelenis. And Greening is still a NHL player.

Greening proved last year he could contribute in the NHL...so many of the kids took jobs this year. Laich and Greening were originally supposed To be with the Leafs but the kids were all ready and still proving to be ahead of schedule. I'd rather have that 7th rounder than Gelinas.

I think Gelinas still has potential, definitely worth a low round draft pick.

COL probably retains more salary on the pending UFA's... doesn't matter to them.

You're insane if you really think Landeskog returns that much

Washington and Anaheim is a big pass. Iginla is worth a third round pick at best, so you won't get a fourth and a B defense prospect for him. And given how high the market is for a defenseman now, you can't get a guy like Fowler, then a good defense prospect in Theodore, AND a second round pick. Especially for an overrated player like Landeskog

Landeskog has been playing through an injury this season. He's tough.
