Yes. He has been a shutdown Centre these playoffs, but still has only 3 points in 17 games. He is a third line Centre on a good team. No team will be paying him $6mill a year. he is maybe worth $5mill. $4.5 seems fair.

What centerpiece are you expecting for a pending UFA? A first round pic and a top prospect are not enough?
