No Disrespect intended at all but no.
- Marcus foligno is too important to wild as a leader, & player. He's not available considering wild just signed him to 3 years contract extension to begin next year
- Wild are the last team needing D , much less a Left handed D

So just going to say to you in terms of this proposal, & any leafs proposal to send Morgan Reilly to wild is a no along with getting Marcus foligno is also a no

You're not wrong, but Rielly is an improvement over Brodin, plus Cole & Hunt are UFAs. So it's not unthinkable, definitely unlikely.
I mainly considered that Foligno would be what Toronto needs for the playoffs.
Only 7 games played and in the top 15 for hits.
Plus it might help get Nick Foligno for a little bit less.

I agree. I can't see the Wild trading Foligno

Do you disagree that Rielly is better than Brodin?
Would Dumba + Rielly not be a better pair?
Then maybe they trade or leave either Brodin or Soucy unprotected for Seattle

Again, not saying it's likely, but it would make sense as a hockey trade but the purpose was more to address Toronto's needs.

I'd say Brodin is our best defenseman. He also complements Dumba really well since he can cover up for Dumba getting aggressive. I'd way rather have Brodin + Dumba. Rielly just doesn't make any sense for us to be honest. We need centers, not defenseman.

Umm no. Brodin is one of the best shutdown d in the NHl

Brodin is reason dumba played so good this year

Please watch games of other teams instead of statements like this that isn't factually correct at all

First, Brodin >>> Rielly.

Second, Rielly's name recognition alone would get the Leafs a better package than Marcus Foligno... not to mention he's still a good top 4 D

Fine. How about Marner & Rielly for Brodin & Foligno plus some plug to make it more cap balanced.

I don't see why we'd trade Brodin or Foligno after we just extended both. The Wild and Toronto aren't great fits as trading partners in general. We need top 6 centers and the two that Toronto has aren't going anywhere and Kerfoot is more of a 3C than the top 6 guy we need. Marner is a great player but he'd cost too much and we don't really need wingers. And again, we have too many D so we don't need Rielly.

No. Wild aren't trading one of the best shutdown d in the NHL . Wild don't need Marner. Brodin is untouchable and going nowhere

Marner who has 11 mil in cap room, & hasn't done anything in the playoffs for 2 years? No thanks.

Wild gave Brodin a no movement clause

Foligno was given 3 years extension.

Wild are last team needing a Winger much less not having a cap.

Leafs can keep Marner

Trade Riley elsewhere

Kerfoot isn't even a really 3c. He's more a 3/ 4th line Winger who plays c when leafs need him there but there fans talk all the time about Kerfoot sucking at c, & how he plays a better game at wing
