This isn't 100% confirmed tbh. There is a chance that VAN needs to have the cap space available for him.

I agree. Some insiders on VAN sports radio say he could very well be back to start the season.


For me I would be reluctant to trade a 2nd to move Holtby as I think there's a decent chance Seattle takes him, and since Vancouver wont be a contender next season I think a 2nd is an asset they shouldn't part with to move one year of a bad contract.
If the team figures Beagle will be back next season I would probably trade a 3rd to move him.
