I can't see the Sabres paying the full $3M of cash on LE's contract. This was why I had the Canucks retaining $2M of the $3M cash.

I agree on the sense of urgency, however if Buffalo is looking to press the reset button (again), they can get a pretty good draft pick here from Vancouver, and a legit prospect in Lind. If they would take Holtby too, that would be great, although something tells me that the Sabres might be on his 4 team no-trade list! Ha!

The number 9 OA and Lind for Reinhart should be more than enough for the Sabres and their rebuild timeline. Dont understand why Bennning didnt just protect 8 forwards today with Lind being exposed he seems like the obvious pick tho waivers eligible
