If Gaudreau doesn't re sign with Calgary his trade value drastically decreases cause teams could just sign him so this is an overpayment from Philly

Get rid of the third, change the 6th to a second then maybe.

I mean I get gaudreau is an extremely good hockey player but if he’s not resigning in Calgary why would they give up all of that?

Rumour is that Jersey is a potential landing spot too, pay up to get him before someone else does.

Calgary takes this deal and runs with it, you get Konecny and Patrick for Johnny Hockey and a 3rd that’s a good deal for Calgary

Flames decline, konecny is overrated he was being scratched this year due to his play. He only have like 5 more points than monahan who had a bad hip injury for half the season. Flames easily decline

I normally agree with your takes but I have to disagree here, Patrick has very little value right now and konecny is overrated he was scratched for 6 games this year due to his play and only had 34 points which is only like 5 more than monahan who had a bad hip injury for half the season. This trade is terrible for calgary

You haven’t followed the Flyers have you? Patrick can’t stay healthy, he’s got migraine issues and misses a ton of games. Between the two of them they might play a full season. It’s not worth it at all.

Perhaps, I did this in an armchair GM team where I already got rid of the 2nd in a deal for Eichel so that’s why I threw in the third

Yeah that was over a year ago and now he is able to play and wants out of Philie and to get Konecky who had a down year this would make Calgary a much better team without having to trade Tkachuk.
