Again, if Tampa valued having a deeper blue line, they could not re-sign Coleman and either keep Savard or go after a solid ufa RD like Martinez perhaps on a shortish deal.

Chytil should be 2.5-3M.

I'm good with the Oilers trade for Palat. Maybe the Oilers throw in Stalock and the Tampa 6th becomes a 5th and the Lightning don't trade for Hutchinson.

Thanks, hmm a little.more creativity will be needed, if that's the case, to make the.numbers work.

Is Stalock ready to play though? He didn't play at all this past season from what I see.

Yeah, he was ready I think in late March/early April when we had to pull him off of IR and use a roster spot. He had some sort of heart issue from covid he had to work through. I believe he backed up for a game or two but didn't get in. By the time he was healthy the Oilers were in their stretch run and in a rhythm of giving Smith most games and Koskinen a game in back to back situations... just wasn't the right time to try working a third goalie into the rotation.

Thanks. I've used the Palat for picks+Stalock trade before, but then someone pointed out the possible issue with him, so I had gone away from it. I'll use that basis in the next agm I try.

In the end, Stalock and Hutchinson are similar options and price points. I just see a fit with the Oilers for a winger and could see Stalock being a throw in type idea.
