Kudos to you on this one as again you take a very different tack to the conundrum that the Ducks will have in trading for Captain Jack... how do we rebuild on the fly if we have to send a couple of our top prospects & high draft choice..... you make Buffalo take on a contract we would like to get out from....

I know Duck fan no way is Henrique an albatross.... well to the Sabres he is definitely an albatross as he does not fit with what GM Adams wants to do..... but if it means Zegras and Comtois coming to Western New York then Adams would swallow....

The bigger issue is how does the Ducks or Sabres get Henrique to waive the no movement/no trade clause.....

A majority of what I have read is that the contract the Ducks would off load in a trade with the Sabres is Rakell (this would be more palatable to the Sabres as it is only for one year at 3.8 million) compared to Henrique (3 years 5.25 million).... this may be due to the fact Rakell has no way to veto the trade. Under the scenario that it is Henrique I think Adams could actually look to get an other prospect or draft pick thrown in.....

I like it. Ok with watching henrique for a year or 2. Love that 3rd overall pick too
