I feel like klingberg would fetch more than that. Ghost hasn't been worth that contract since he signed it so basically your saying a mid round 1st and a cap dump for a top 2 dman in klingberg. Hard no from Dallas.

But what could the Stars get for Klingberg right now 1 year to UFA? And what could they get if he got extended say 8yr/8+ million per yr? Problem with not trading Klingberg now is he walks for free or locks up a ton of cap in addition Benn and Seguin who are already almost a 1/4 of the cap with full NMCs (plus who would want them at that hit now).

Could you get two firsts, a first and 2 seconds?

Well I think they extend him, but his comparable is more like tory Krug at 6.5, not 8, especially in the flat cap. Now if he came out saying he wasn't going to extend like jones did , that's a different story.
