Description

Poile said in his Arvy press conference he hopes that he can make a deal with Seattle to take a certain player. I think that player being Johannson or Duchene. Preds then deal Ellis and go 4x4 in expansion draft.

It would cost multiple 1sts for SEA to take on that Duchene contract, its an anchor.

Coleman is getting double that AAV and triple the term.

That Ellis deal is a steal for Phi

For multiple 1st plus Duchene, the Preds could get much better return than giving him away to Seattle. I agree, his contract blows but its not like the Preds will have to give a way 3 1st round picks to get it off there books.

I don't' think a guy that hasn't hit 40 points once in his career is going to get 6 million a year.

I think the Ellis deal is fair. Ellis gives Philly what they need, Konency gives Preds what they need.
