      You don't need to get rid of any player. You still have that LTIR to use. You sure you don't want to get Toews and put him on LTIR?

      Canes shouldn’t be taking on Johnson under any circumstances. It’s not asset collection time, they’re entering prime of their window and should be using that cap space to improve the top 6 and signing their young stars to upcoming deal. Can also better use cap space by resigning Dougie with that money, just doesn’t make sense.

      What they did, not what they should be doing going forward. Need to focus on impact players, not taking on overvalued players in return for futures. Not saying they need to go out and sign some big deals but need to use cap space effectively and this isn’t it.
