I think that we're going to want a more immediate return for trading Rickard Rakell than a future second and a prospect at a position of strength (LW). The problem, of course, is that you don't have a 2021 second, so it's either your 2021 first (we add) or someone like Ethan Bear (we probably have to add) or Raphael Lavoie plus the 2022 second. Plus, you can't trade Tyler Benson -- he's from Edmonton.

Hawks accept that. Probably an overpay by edmonton. Atleast make chicago retain more.

Or make the Hawks take James Neal instead, since it relieves more cap for the Oil and he only costs 1.9x4 for a buyout immediately.

Hawks ain't taking Neal. Maybe koskinen but not Neal

If they get something better out of the trade by helping the Oil clear more cap, they absolutely would.
