I feel like losing Gourde and Palat isn’t, “making it work.” That’s just ditching money and making the team way way way worse.

They have to move money and those are two players I would move first given contract length and salary.

The cost to take on TJ is 2, A- assets with nothing going back. This is not enough to take that contract off your books.

Detroit will ask for one prospect for every year of contract TJ have left out of these five; Alnefelt, Finley, Goncalves, Ryfors, Cajkovic.

GOURDE is a 3rd liner .. not core

Duh. But he’s awesome. As is palat. Cups aren’t won just with a good core.

The point is it’s really easy to make the cap work by just ditching good players for nothing.

Gourde was terrible until Colemen and Goodrow arrived ... bad contract
