Yup this is actually very possible and likely to happen.
Players can take less to go to a team with the intention of winning a cup.
& Injuries do happen. Its rumored kucherov and hedman are currently playing injured.

Idon't doubt that something like this will happen. It's not illegal anyways

I like it. They are still a playoff team and it's not illegal. Then again, kind of hard to trust a guy who thinks Chris Lee is a good ref.
