I doubt the Kings would make that trade with the Sabres to acquire Eichel.

How can the Kings improve without giving up much, and by developing within?

Eh, taking on Quick is rough and Iafallo is just a solid depth F who gets a ton of ice time so it seems just a lot all told, idk about ridiculous overpayment

The Quick buyout only saves 2M$ I mean yikes 😖

A mid 1st alone for taking him seems warranted

The Sabres would take that, in my opinion. They'll be able to absorb Quick's contract with Eichel's moving out, plus Vilardi and Turcotte are great pieces to come back. Iafallo is from 20 minutes south of Buffalo and that can easily be sold to the fans. I don't know enough Bjornfot but the first is the icing on the cake. You could probably throw in Maatta too rather than buying him out and the Sabres can flip him to someone while retaining salary.

I like this trade a lot (biased as a Sabres fan).
