For St-Louis to consider this, you would have to take Allen instead of Hutton. They won't want to pay Allen starter money to be a backup when they're looking for cap space. In which case Pittsburgh would then need to drop salary somehow.

no chance you get Johnson for only that. Also, I think Sheary is going to want a little more. Fleury for Shatty is an interesting suggestion, but I don't know if the Blues are ready to give up on Allen yet.

With the cap push being as bad as it is, I don't think it makes much sense to sign a 5 million dollar 3C, even if it is a guy as good as TJ. He just won't get the ice time to justify it.

St. Louis is gonna hard pass that trade, Allen would have to come back to Pittsburgh if we want STL to take Fleury.
