those aren't the big games.

for $10.5m you need a goalie to do better than a 3.2gaa and .888sv in the cup final.

Got ya. So playoffs are not big games, good to know. I’m sure Ullmark gets them through the playoffs to the finals and then beats Tampa easily. Good point.

Not agreeing or disagreeing, but it's typically true that small sample size numbers always tend to come back to the mid-point.

lol i like how you just ignore the cup final. they biggest games there are.

are you also ignoring how price was outplayed by his backup in the regular season too. without price's albatross contract the habs can fill out the rest of team.

he had a bad start to the serie... also got beaten by perfect cross-ice plays.

fair point but he's only been to the finals once so there's not a large sample size to begin with.

so a .913sv% for the entire 2021 season. not at all what i'd expect or want from the highest paid goalie in the league.

Fair. I'd even bump up the expectation a bit, but not to the insane Giguere-esque numbers he had in the first three rounds.
