Well that was all the crappy Habs did this year. It sucked watching the 20th best team in the league play 4 rounds in playoffs.

I could see Chiarot in NSH for 1 season as Hynes has shown an affinity for size on the blueline, but he's not getting that return. I can't see any team paying more than a 3rd for him. Not sure NSH would even offer up that much considering he'd be utilized in a 3rd line role with a cap hit of $3.5m.

Great season by MTL! But, let’s temper the season a bit and the results because a) the 18th best team in the league doesn’t usually make the playoffs b) your opening round opponent doesn’t lose one of their best players a C for critical games in the series c) your 2nd rd opponent doesn’t lose their best player and 1C for the duration of the series because of suspension d) your 3rd rd opponent loses their default 1C in the final 2 games and the opposing head coach loses his mind playing goalie roulette. Don’t really seeing basically every break going their way again next season.

If this is done after the Expansion Draft, I'd do it for NYI.
