An Ellis/Konecny swap might make sense for both teams, but this doesn’t make sense for NSH to trade their best forward here. If the Predators are going after Konecny it’s to improve their forward group. This doesn’t do that. I don’t think the value is bad for NSH at all. I just can’t see Nashville doing this unless they go full rebuild.

Can’t see the Blues interested in Voracek

I personally don't think he walks unless NSH goes complete rebuild. I think we'll have an idea if he isn't re-signing before the TDL. I would hope if he isn't planning to re-sign that he would be traded. I know there has been a lot of speculation that he's not happy with the organization since the Arvi trade. I do wonder how much truth there is to that though. He also just got engaged to a singer/songwriter who lives in Nashville so I wonder if that plays into his decision at all to re-sign. If he doesn't re-sign, I think the trade package you've put together is something NSH would consider.
