Dont think St.Louis can demand a ton becuase SHattenkirk will be a free agent after this year. If thats the case then this could happen. If they can get a deal in place before they trade for him the price goes way up.

I wouldn't be comfortable knowing nuge is gone for nothing at the end of the year. I'd say wait till the end of the year to throw an offer in. He doesn't want to come to EDM

You might help the PP with Shattenkirk, but not having RHN at centre hurts the Oilers too.

Love it, but not sure its worth it. Cant imagine a scenario that keeps him in EDM

I don't understand this move. Leon has had all his success with either Hall or CMD on his line, now you get rid of the only bonafide 2C and slot Leon there, that is a huge risk. Also, this team doesn't even have a bonafide 3C. Move Nuge and what was once a strength is now a big question mark.
