Karlsson is a very good and young player. The Jackets are looking for experience. A straight swap would not be too far out of the question for a soon to be unrestricted free agent.

I agree with you in the sense that that is what the value should be but, the demand for Hanzal will drive up the price. Everyone looking to get bigger, stronger, and better down the middle. Hanzal will be overpaid for.
