You’re suggesting that not only does Jones have more value than Reinhart, but you think the gap between them is Konecny????

The return for Jones would only come with a signed extension. Plus, the Reinhart deal would probably require a Foudy or Texier or Bemstrom in the deal too.
Not to mention Barrie will probably cost a mil or two more per year, which the Jackets can afford.

Don't point out home town biases so logically. Reinhart and TK+ for Jones...

I wish we would all stop pretending Jones has been an elite defender in any season since 2017-18. And by the way, Columbus is selling low on an asset that had a **** season and told the club very publicly he was not resigning. Where is all of this leverage coming in that demands huge return?
