I would never pay to get him. Even for a year his cap hit is too much. Maybe if his salary is less than his hit a team like Ottawa or someone pays an extra pick just to have him around the team I guess.

there are plenty of GM's that value a D who can play 20+ min and put up 40+ points. He also has a flashy skillset and the fact that he just played top min on a team that wen to the ECF 2 years In a row only increases his value.
