Fabbro cost far more then a 3rd round pick, And Yzerman isn't dealing Stecher for MAF and then deal him back to Pittsburgh with 50% retention. Fabbro > > > Dunn and even Dunn returns a better offer then that.

but to argue the 7-3 logic of it all

NSH doesnt have 7 forwards to protect (arguably only 3)

I agree Fabbro is worth considerably more than a 3rd and he is also an RHD that plays on the right side. So I'm not quite sure why Detroit would be targeting him in the 1st place.
