i think you made them worse. Jones isnt an upgrade over MR imo and Bertuzzi isnt an upgrade on Nylander.

AARP 4th line might not be the best idea either

Jones is a huge upgrade on Rielly, Bertuzzi+Hyman is a better fit on this team than Nylander. (already have Tavares, Marner, Matthews)

Need to move Salary out to keep the guy in your DP - so factor him into your comparisons. Don't get how anyone can think Rielly is better than Jones

Wings pass, not close to the package they want.

7-8 teams are in on bertuzzi, leafs are in the division as well going to have to overpay or no go

Maybe they carried an extra guy once they had some LTIR to use, but they absolutely played most of the last 2 seasons with 18 skaters. Definitely this year as they had the taxi squad to utilize, this is not up for debate as anyone following the Leafs was talking about this all year long - there were roster moves daily.

Go ask your mom or dad when you go upstairs, they can probably explain it to you.

Bertuzzi have not asked for a trade.

Detroit have not put Bertuzzi on the block.

This is you trying to trade for a player Detroit doesn't want to lose.

Can you post any link that referenses anyone from the Detroit Red Wings organization saying that Bertuzzi is on the trade block?

Can you post any link that referenses Bertuzzi saying he wants to be traded?

There have been rumours that Toronto wants to trade for him but that is not the same thing as Detroit wanting to trade him away.
