He also only played 27 games because Tom Wilson is a POS.

Wilson wasn't the only one who knocked him out of games last year.
He was injured 2x that I know of.
And he wasn't the reason he had a history of being injured prior to that.
It is what it is. He gets hurt, a lot.

This has the potential to be a great deal.
But he has 15 goals and 40 points in over 300 NHL games.

He is defensive giant but strictly on that, this seems like a bit much.

He's a defensive defenseman and points aren't a good way to evaluate defensemen.

He actually has 55 points. He's also had to be a safety net defensively for Torey Krug for majority of his career, while getting little to no PP time. He averages out to a fringe 15pt d-man while be asked to play a shutdown role and be the PK horse for the team. If he had a partner that allowed him to jump up on plays he's probably more like a 20-25pt shutdown d-man.

That is true but it is the way players are mostly paid.
That is my point.

Hopefully Carlo discovers a way to impact offensively a little.

Typo on my part.
I put 40 points when I meant 40 assists.

Regardless, hopefully Carlo adds some offensive touch to his game during the course of the deal.

Agreed for the offense.
