The realistic offers on this site for Eichel are incredibly rare. He's either getting way too much or a bunch of B prospects. Keep looking and eventually you may find 1 reasonable middle ground offer. Maybe.

I mean, yes from Buffalo

If you want to make it reasonable, replace Rossi and fiala with Rask and beckman

if were being real, take out one of the 1sts and those 3 + 1 1st cant be seen as crazy on either side. cant really resign fiala anyways with eichels cap hit. doesnt blow up Min's roster and puts them right in win now mode if they resign Kap. Plus, something people overlook, (unfortunately) there is a just as big if not a bigger worry about rossi's future coming off of his COVID battle because he is still unproven, similar eichel's with the neck. two solid prospects (wouldnt say elite... but very, very good - tier 2 prospects in terms of the entire NHL pool), and a good young roster player and a pick is market value for jack

Word is that they want the equivalent to 6 1st round picks. Anyone who even considers this and takes it to the owner for approval should be fired on the spot.

If Fiala were traded for a single 1st rd pick, it would be a terribly lopsided trade. So considering him 1 of the 4 1st equivalents is just a bad take. This is 6 1st equivalents.

this is what i dont understand. so they want 4 for Eichel, maybe a little high but still fair. Rossi, Boldy, and either PIT/MIN 1st are still only one a piece so thats 3. i'll give you fiala is closer to 2 firsts, fine. we add in a 2nd round pick and a mid level prospect or even low salary roster player like bjork/tage to equal one 1st combined. "5 firsts" going each way. the mind blown nature of seeing Rossi Boldy Fiala and a 1st (that isnt even that high) for Eichel (Eichel + in this case). i dont think many people (buff/minn/neutral media) would be saying one side fleeced the other if a trade looked like that

The trade above is Rossi, Boldy and 2 1sts. That right there is 4 1sts. Then Fiala is thrown in, which tips is way over the line. Let’s just say 5.5 1sts in total, if Fiala is 1.5 equivalent.

Anyway you slice it, that’s a tremendous amount of value. It’s an overpay. Eichel is not worth 5.5 1sts. Even Adams knows that.

It would have been cool to give a contract in roubles. In a couple of years the salary would be enough just to buy beer and cigarettes dollarwise due to inflation. #pain
