This….. could work the players all make sense and the locations I think are fine but maybe the picks can be doled back a tiny bit, other than that trade looks good.

This doesn't work at all. Domi is nothing but a cap hit, Tarasenko is an ER visit waiting to happen. Marner is a top 5 point scorer. CLB sheds a bad cap hit and trades a guy who's gonna walk at the end of the year, and doesn't even give up their own #1 this year? It would be nice to have picks in TO but the player return isn't enough for Marner. And I can't see STL being interested in Jones for 1 year, when their real need is at F.

Yeah, but TOR isn't moving Marner for this. They are in win now mode, and they would need a healthy impact player back in the deal, as well as other assets (unless the player return is equal to Marner production wise).

Leafs fans make me nervous they seen what this roster can do and they still want to hold on to it. There like that tv show hoarders can't get rid of anything

No one said changes aren't needed. But to trade a high end player for a back up goalie and a guy who's one body check away from retirement is is not the change they need.

Not his fault St Louis team doctors misdiagnosed the injury

For sure, but that doesn't negate the fact that he's damaged goods and not a worthwhile piece for a player of Marner's caliber.
