Description

With the latest news from Weber, this is the lucky opportunity that Montreal must take advantage of.

1. Seattle's pick for the expansion draft will be Jake Allen.

2. They will do the big trade for Eichel. This trade must include Drouin as a base. In terms of the contract, this could be a hidden card in the trade for Buffalo if Drouin regains a second life in a market where the pressure is less intense. Jesperi Kotkaniemi is the minimum young guy to add as a possible replacement as a Buffalo center and he's only 21. Kaiden Guhle could be a great addition to their defense as he is sure to become a top 4 defenders. Obviously, a trade like this they need to put draft picks there, so they add their 1st pick and 2nd pick in the 2021 draft.

3. With the space in the cap that Weber has freed up, they will want to move all in with Dougie Hamilton to replace him. I am using the contract signed by Alex Pietrangelo last year as a reference for his contract.

4. They need to add a 4th liner centerman, so they will try to sign Ryan Getzlaf as a last run before his retirement with his old mate Corey Perry. It would be a perfect fit for adding physical, skills and leadership to the team for another ultimate chance to the Stanley Cup.

i dont think they would need to pay that high a price, i think BUF counters with that but i dont think they will end up getting a much better offer than that.

The untouchable for Mtl are Suzuki, Caufield, Romanov and Primeau in terms of young players

I could see something like : Drouin , Kotkaniemi, Guhle , 1rst 2022 , 3rd 2021 and Ylonen

Doubt that will happened but imagine xD

Suzuki IS an untouchable with Caufield , our n1 center for the future and already established as a player who can pop off in playoffs, something Eichel didn't even get closed to (not his fault, but still)

Any deal for Eichel starts with Suzuki and Habs are not doing that, so it's a mood point

Any deal for Eichel going to montreal, is going to need Suzuki, especially because they're trading in the division. This trade is not close

Eichiel price is going down every day, When you put you'r price to high no body wants to toutch it with a foot long after. Eichiel ain't getting what saber's fan is thinking. First because of is 10 millions contract and second with is injury. What is in this trade will most linkely get Eichiel maybye not with the habs but with a other team it will be the same.

First, getzlaf ain't getting 3 millions to play a 4 line center role, max 1.5 even that its to much for that role. After Kulak and Byron are not staying with montreal next season. So you would have to found a other Top 6 left wing and a RH dman

Excatly, Buffalo don't have any bargain in this trade. Yes they won't trade him for peanuts, but they won't get a star or super star either. They will get a buch a good player and pick but nothing outstanding. People have to understand that.

And you can say whatever but because of the injury and Eicheil requesting a trade, more buffalo waits, lower the BIG retourn is gonna be. You got nothing more simple to understand.
