    As expensive as he is, I don't think Tampa is going to want to trade McDonagh right now. He was really good for them last year, and keeping him would probably be more beneficial than signing Landeskog, in my opinion.
    Also, Detroit's pretty set at RD, so Rutta isn't really a need. Not terrible value, just not the right team.

    100% spot on ...Mc Donough guarantees 2 more Cups in his last 4 upcoming years .. other than Vaz, McDonough is top reason we won 2 and will win 2 more .. without him the Cup run is done .. and $6.5M is not high considering cap goes back UP in 2022.

    Overall we dont need Landeskog at all ..

    The point of this roster was to get vets on the team who have yet to win a cup. McD had to go to make that happen. This wasn't a serious proposal. Also McD wasn't traded, he was taken by Seattle.

    That's crazy talk Mcdonagh was important but 2 in the next 4 if only they keep him come on man honestly if Seattle takes him JBB very privately does the dance of joy that opens almost 7 million dollars in salary cap space.

    Agreed. I think it's possible they leave McDonagh open if they haven't already made a deal with Seattle.
