All of those contracts are way below market value for those players. For example, Vince Dunn's Qualifying Offer is $1,875,000. If you don't offer him that, he walks. And if you offer him anything less than what he really wants, he can demand arbitration and even if he loses, walk in two years, so you have to give him what he's worth.
