Just say no to Ben Bishop! He isn't as good as what his price will be.

Again, the Jackets are not trading Bjorkstrand for a rental backup goalie. How many times does this need to be said?

Same amount of times I have said the Flyers don't want Bishop.

If not Bishop, then who? Mason isn't getting us there. Nuevirth always gets hurt. There are guys coming, but until then what?

The problem with this is that Anaheim would probably be looking for more crucial roster spots - top 4 dman/top 6 forward - in replacement for their young up and comer in Manson. Raffl is more of a third or possibly 4th liner and Hagg might not really crack the top 4 let alone the top 6. I think you'd have to add in another higher pick but this trade just doesn't really make sense for Anaheim.
Also, Read will not be taken in the expansion draft, not a chance. They won't have a problem getting their cap filled and they'd definitely prefer to take Stolarz over Read an day, and unless you get another goalie with more than a year left on his contract before the expansion or extend Mason/Neuvirth, then you'll have to expose Stolarz.
The going rate for Duchene is an established top 4 dman, a top prospect and first round pick, not two players struggling to crack the lineup, a potentially good dman prospect and mid range 2nd.

We aren't getting "there" in the next few years anyways. We are going to likely have 4-5 D that will have less than 3 years experience in the lineup next year. Mason or Neuvy will come much cheaper than Bishop and maybe allow us to acquire a top 6 LWer and still sign the upcoming RFAs to decent contracts.
