As a Wild fan (MN native), I think this is the best offer in order to have the room for Eichel's cap hit and keep Boldy to potentially put him in FIala's spot at 2RW next season. Sucks to lose Fiala and Rossi, but we've been starved of a 1C our entire 20 year existence haha.

I'm ok with it, if Buffalo is. BG is probably trying to offload Rask if he can, especially if he plans to sign Nick Foligno - and Beckman is a decent middle-six winger prospect that could spice it up so that Buffalo actually is ok with taking Rask.

I do not think that if the wild give up fiala that they would still give up rossi, this would probably be picks instead of someone who was considered a steal in the draft last year

Just in terms of their roster, it really makes it tough. Those 2 are most likely slated to be opening day players. (rossi the only ?), So they replace 2 players that will be making ~7M for one that makes 10, its tough.
