so would i but that is a clear demotion for monahan who has had an a for a few seasons now. tough to demote a guy like that when he has been a core piece and had a tough season due to injury.

Reinhart trade makes zero sense for either team. Buffalo is probably drafting Power so they definitely don't need more LD prospects and would prefer our 1st and/or Zary/Pelleiter. Calgary needs Dube and Valimaki a lot more than the futures I just listed

Maybe, Lindy isn't really a team leader but if Monny's off the team this summer then I would choose him (or whoever replaces Monny)
