That's about fair value, but he's only getting traded as an asset to buy, not to sell.

He’s kinda perfect for what it seems Poile is going for: size, skill, getting younger.

Him leaving does make room for Kravtsov in the top 6 though — what kind of addition would you be targeting?

Was tinkering around with this exact move.

Buchnevich checks a lot of boxes the preds are looking for in their "competitive rebuild"

Value would be interesting ... I think this is a bit of an overpay considering hes not signed but depends what NYR is looking for/other teams are offering

What do you think about bumping Buch/Kunin both up a spot in the lineup and starting Tomasino on the 3rd line? Buch is the most proven of the 3 and Kunin would be a great puck hound and net front presence for the Tolvy/Duch duo. Would also just be fun to see if Tomasino and Glass could develop some chemsitry in sheltered minutes.

I’d be ok with that too — overall Tolvanen/Duchene kinda worries me defensively, but we’ll see.

But would be sweet if Tomasino - Glass developed together like that.
