Oilers cant trade the 2022 2nd because it is conditional to Chicago foe the the Keith trade.

Yep. Not sure they would trade it for DeBrusk anyway. Lots of potential there, but he was playing on Boston's third line. In Edmonton, RNH is in place for the next... well, forever. So the 2LW position is taken for the next couple of seasons, at least. I don't think DeBrusk is the player the Oilers envision playing on McDavid's left side, which means he might compete with, or block Dylan Holloway next season. His current salary and arbitration rights make him a bit of a risk, especially if he's not going to be a top-six forward.
