could be a little light on the Granlund deal. and would depend on what Suter and Parise are looking for the vet going rover move, or looking for a deal with some decent term.

I don't see the Avs letting Gabe walk by having a hard contract line and then spending that same amount of money on guys in UFA. For 9m in space they would probably rather have Gabe overpaid than those 2 guys

I think Suter is going to get more than that and Parise less.

Agreed the only thing being those are shorter term deals, where as Gabe would be looking for a longer term. So it's paying two guys that 9 million for a couple years (then reassess what UFA's are available in a couple years.) Versus Gabe being well overpaid for 6-7-8 years.

Mackinnons deal is up in 2, thats your line. Anything over 2 year doesn't change much.

Which is why I think Schwartz gets 1-2 years tops and why Saad is more about his AAV than it is about term as he will be in his prime for whatever he signs for realistically and he is more replacing whichever F is lost in the ED if he doesn't want too much

I’ve never been that concerned with MacKinnon’s extension since EJ’s $6M comes off the books the same year which, which should pay for most of his raise. Hopefiully, Barron or Helleson step in on an ELC and you’re laughing.
