Is Johnson worth Kassian and a second? Why?

Duh yeah, How do you plan on replacing injured players? if you don't even have enough to cover their salaries. If you've a player out day to day you don't even have enough to bring up a replacement player.

1. Back to back stanley cup wins vs back to back first round exits

2. 14 minutes of ice time per game vs 11 minutes of ice time per game

3. Former 25-30 goal scorer who can play centre in the bottom 6 and take faceoffs vs a one-dimensional enforcer who was unable to stay heathy for most of the year.

And so on.

Yeah, a second sounds fair.

I hear Yzerman has a history with Tyler Johnson in Tampa and the Wings need to hit the floor.

You interested?

Why would Detroit pay for TJ?

Detroit doesn't need to buy cap, they will easily hit the minimum by signing Bert, Hronek, Vrána and a few others. Detroit is looking to sell cap and it won't be for free.

TJ will cost one prospect per year of contract left. Pick three out of these five; Cajkvic, Ryfors, Finley, Alnefelt, Goncalves.

Because Yzerman will turn TJ into the great player he once was when he played for him in Tampa.
