Eichel blocks the trade, only because you made him 2nd line center lol

For not touching Suzuki and beeing in the same division it will cost a lot

And because of the need of signing Petersson and Hugues they will need money quick before people can offer sheet, so both beagle and eriksson for their first is logic, especially due to this weird draft

1rst : he can't block a trade, he's not having a NTC
2nd : it will be both 1rst line, like both 1rst and 2nd is the same, avoid putting Eichel against the ennemy 1rst line is even better for his offensive production

I honestly dont think so. Phoenix has gotten multiple 2nd rounders for taking on Ladd at 5 million, this is 9 million and if they want to sign Hughs and Elias I think its the price they would be forced to pay to clear salary. Also thinking its what teams have told them and they havent done it because of the price. But we will see what happens tonight

Also btw the Canucks are not rebuilding, so it's less a thing trading their pick than a rebuilding team

(btw i misswrite the salary reduction, 1$ of retain salary is kinda... dumb as fck XD , it was 1m that i wanted to)

They need to sign Hugues and Petersson and they only have 15m

+ other pieces and they will ask minimum for 8m per year

Hughes isnt getting 8 mil a year, hes not a bottom 6 forward lol. But seriously he shouldnt be getting anything close to that unless its an 8 year deal.
But either way i was commenting on your ladd reference that 5.5 costs 2 2nds, its actually 11 that costs 2 2nds.

I’ve explained this and I’ll do it against buying out Virtanen saves 2.5 million. Trading or buying up Holtby saves 4 million. Burying Eriksson and Roussel saves around 3 million. If we really need to, we can trade Schmidt and lose his 6 million dollar contract. After those moves, we have another 15 million to work with.

Fair but the actual money is around the same and your Gm was actually smart enough to plan ahead of signing his stars where as Vancouver's wasnt and now they're up against it to sign them both. Dont know if teams will let Benning off easy with getting rid of money. Also dont think he is half the GM Lou is when dealing with contract negotiations so Van is screwed either wya

Oh for sure benning isnt close to LL as a gm. The only time bennings with him is drafting where bennings uncharacteristically good and lou is really bad.
