    I would never pay extra to take on extra salary cap for a guy older, and a guy who will depreciate in about a year.

    Anything good about that ellis trade just got flushed down the sh!yet with that horrible Risto trade.

    I think he'll get a bridge contract similar to Ned's with Detroit. This year really hurt his value. But after the Risto trade today, I wouldn't be surprised if they sign Hart for 8 years at 12mil.

    I mean with the circumstances that the blues are in it seems as though Tarasenko is all but done with the organization. I know the blues GM said that he expects Tarasenko to be fine playing but with all the stuff that has happened I doubt everything is hunky-dory come training camp. This actually saves you money as Voracek with 2 million retained is 6.25 compared to tarasenko's 7.5. with the flat cap even a savings as small as that can really help teams make moves.

    I mean we just got Buchnevich so I don't see the need in grabbing a cap dump for about 2 years. It's not neccessary if we want to move him on with what Philly has done Calgary and Montreal probably go after him before Philly does.
