Dude, Komorov is a first-line wing for a team that was a win away from the finals. It's actually an upgrade over Tarasenko, you should be thankful Lou is providing you with such a generous return to the St. Lewis Blews Hockey Club.

If I'm DA, if you wantme to retain any of Tarasenko's salary, I'm countering with an ask of Mayfield as part of that package.

Yes--I'm aware, the Islanders would never want to deal Mayfield, because he's highly effective and he's locked up long term on a very affordable contract. That is precisely why the Blues would want him.

Would the Isles covet Tarasenko enough to do that? I'm not suggesting they would.
