  3. 2023 7th round pick (DAL)
DAL
  1. Burns, Brent ($4,000,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Okay hear me out. Brent Burns would most likely wave his M-NTC for Dallas because it would place him closer to his ranch. This trade would also unite the wonderous duo of Bruns and Pavelski; benefiting both players points production. I know many will disagree with this one, but some trades are never expected and then happen out of the blue.

No we don’t. We need to add talent to the blue line. Have enough 3rd pair depth guys.

It's smart to accumulate picks for cap space, but buffalo is in the same position and will be 20 million under the cap. No need to trade 2 2nds to move okposo

If you want to eat our cap, take Koskinen. We are likely going to buyout Neal since Holland said there will be one buyout this season

We have depth we need a legit 1LD on the back end.

Simek can also play top 4 dman minutes, he did it with Burns. Regardless, I think bruins fans would enjoy him on the team; he was called Simek God for a reason

That's probably the case, though I read something saying the Pegulas would prefer to lower spending (might just be me misremembering a Panthers or Senators article).

I went with Neal because he has the higher and longer cap hit, but the Sharks could take on both contracts in exchange for multiple 1st round picks.

Cool, keep him.

Anyone can play top 4 minutes, not providing top 4 quality while doing it is problematic. We have him already, we call him John Moore, he’s our 8th d man and does not play despite 2.75 cap hit. Don’t need another. I know you think he’s better than Moore because he plays for your team, he isn’t. Compare their 82 game averages and metrics, pretty similar. We need an LD1 or a pair of high end LD2s. Not more 6s making 4 money. It does mot help us at all, just eats up precious cap space.

I would give Koskinen for a 2nd because goalies are random and sure he had a really bad year but can be back to himself like he was in 2019-2020 season.

My proposal would be Koskinen and a 2nd for a fourth AHL line prospect
