Initial Creation Date: Jul. 25, 2021
Published: Jul. 25, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
What a terrible job Waddell is done somehow. Bean gone, Nedeljkovic tossed, and Mrzaek may be gone (if he finds a home). This team woulda been so hard to beat with some TDL acquisitions.

Yeah that is actually such a good pick up. Jarmo doing fine work always - hopefully the team can improve on the ice this season.

Losing Nedeljkovic (great goalie with room to grow) and Bean (great prospect/ bottom 4 upside) for next to nothing and no real massive financial change compared to the display. Additionally now with Bernier the only likely candidate for net with the others maybe hitting free agency (only 1 could stay).

Yup my takes bad sorry lol

Losing Ned hurts, Bean not so much. When putting Bean out on the 3rd pair you need a specific type of partner to cover up Bean's defensive lapses. It makes it really hard to find a 3rd RD. Waddell made it sound like we are replacing him from within and I think Lajoie or Sellgren are both more than adequate for the 3rd pair LD.

Bean isn’t very good. Despite his slow cooking is beat up defensively and just pummeled physically every shift. He was so good that Francis passed on him. Bean wanted a top 4 opportunity which is crazy knowing how bad he was.

Ned. Put up great numbers in front of a great defense. He is still inconsistent and growing as a goalie. Canes need a goalie they can count on to be number 1. Ned could be 19-20 goalie and the trade suggests the Canes expect him to regress. Ned didn’t want a 1A/B situation so they traded him. Bernier is a good option who put up good numbers on a bad team.

The only candidate in net? J guess FA isn’t an option. Move on your take is bad.
