Saw rumors today that Bruins may be closing in on signing Derek Forbort. I'm not sure what his value would have jumped to after last season, but I'm hoping he can still be had for fairly cheap.

I also bring in McCabe and Hakanpaa to round out the defense. Hakanpaa adds size with Forbort that the Bruins needed these last two playoffs. McCabe is coming off a severe knee injury, but has steadily improved each year in Buffalo. As long as he's healthy, I believe he is mobile enough to keep the offense moving in that second pairing, but also stout enough defensively that him and Carlo would really lock down other teams.

I've had Coleman on all of my teams so far, but reading the rumor he may get 6x5, I decided to leave him off this one. I decided to go on a short term deal for Granlund instead. Having the ability to play both the right side and center, he gives flexibility for Cassidy to move pieces up and down the lines. The Athletic speculated a 3x5.1 or 2x4.4 deal for Granlund so I ran with the latter here.
