Probably have to make Buffalo take Quick for cap reasons. But with that its as close to the best value Buffalo could get based on the situation.

It's a win for both teams. LA gets the best player in the deal, and get a new franchise center. Buffalo gets a blue chip center prospect, and other young assets for their rebuild.

Both fan bases might not like it, but it makes since from what it would probably take for the trade to actually happen.

Both Byfield and Kaliyev are untouchable for the Kings, and even Bjornfot too.

The Kings turn this down as soon as Byfield gets included in the trade. He is the only untouchable Kings prospect at this point.

Yea but Kings turn this down as soon as Byfield gets included in the trade. He is untouchable at this point.

Swap him out for turcotte and I think the Sabres might take it
