Description

Without trading Copp, fitting 2 min salary forwards (Lewis and Matty P are placeholders, though I think Chevy would bring both back on Min deals), I think the Jets go one year with Copp for what ever it takes to maximize the LTIR space.

This assumes Pionk would sign for under $6 for the 8 years...

I think Copp is officially on the block. Though in this market, Pionk might net 2 first round picks!!!

Trade Copp for a pick and sign some free agents who are better then Perreault and Lewis, that's what I hope they do anyway.

I think that is the most likely outcome. Tried to see if signing Copp was realistic. Doesn’t appear to be.

As noted in the description, Matty and Lewis were placeholders. Not what I would do, though I think Lewis is an option the Jets will pursue.
