Kerfoot is a good centre. But I understand why the Leafs would want him at LW. So much depends on where Kempf, Brooks, maybe Engvall or Semeyov can be competent NHL centres, behind Matthews and Tavares.

Yeah because plans never change between the first day of FA and the start of the season.

That said if Kerfoot is the 1 LW at the beginning of the season this team will be poor
